KEEPING UP WITH THE 2018 WEDDING SEASON!

~May Your 2018 Celebrations be Whimsical~

As event planners we are always on the hunt for new, trendy ideas to spark interest in our brides, clients, party throwers and goers. Discovering fun and inventive trends, and seeing how they take off in our events or everyday celebrations is what we love most about our job. We love watching a preliminary plan work itself out over months and months and seeing the final results come together to create a stunning event.

Trends come and go but your memories and the captured images of those events are forever. We strive to give you the best of the best, so that your event is like no other. Your engagement party, your bridal shower, your bachelor/bachelorette party, and ultimately your wedding are the moments you'll think about forever! Store every image, keep notes and feel lucky that you were able to turn your vision into reality.

~it's your wedding, Be Unique~

We stumbled upon Grace Ciao designs one night and knew we had to incorporate her into our lives. Grace is a 22 year old artist from Singapore that creates art with florals. She uses the petals to create a vision that she brings to life. Ciao has expressed that she started using flower petals by accident:

"She wanted to preserve the beauty of a dying rose that was given to her by a boy." - Audra (Ciao)

These magical and whimsical images are now trending in the high fashion industry and used by creative magicians like Dior, Tory Birch, Kate Spade, Veuve Cliqcot and Karl Lagerfeld.

Invitations, name cards, thank- you cards, place settings, seating charts, flower crowns; there are so many uses for these delicate masterpieces.

~You're the bride, Be Envied~

Sweets and treats are a staple at all of these events. There is no escaping a cake pop, a hand crafted cupcake or a morsel of cheesecake. We are always trying to find the best and most elegant way to display and  present these heavenly delicacies. Why not dress up your dessert table with these stunning floral cupcake arrangements. No calories here, and they're mesmerizing. Take cupcake liners and fill them with your own favourite florals in your colour scheme. There are many ways to display them on cupcake tiers, in glassware, teapots and tea cups, or however you would showcase your edible baked goods. Take a look below for some ideas:

~make your event day Unforgettable~

Your wedding pictures are what will capture the essence of your day.  They will be the one thing that help you remember those initial ideas and executed visions from your special day. Why not use memorable florals from the second you walk down the aisle, to the point where you say "I do"?

Wedding wreaths, arches and backdrops are not only stunning for all, but capture a bonus element of elegance and romance.  The new ceremenonial wreath is not only gorgeous, but functional as it can be easily transported to the reception and used as additional decor or in your photo booth.

Dressed and wrapped in florals, foliage and  twinkle lights, this wreath can be completely created from scratch to fit your day. It is a statement piece!

It's stunning in beach weddings, barn weddings,or any wedding! You can have it elevated or resting. Hanging lower or higher. Make it larger or have several smaller ones. Take photos with it alone or with guests. The possibilities are endless, and it looks pretty spectacular too!

~Be Sweet, because love is~

Party favours and give-aways are always on a bride and wedding coordinators minds. It is the couple's way of saying thank you, but also a way to top off the evening or day with a unique and one-of-a-kind idea. This idea below is cost efficient, easy to create, easy to store, easy to package and easy to eat!

What guest doesn't enjoy wine or champagne? Wine (red, white or rose) or champagne gummy bears are not only adorable and pint size but perfect for showers, bachelorette bashes or party favours. They can also look great on a table setting, wrapped with a cute little bow.

For a sweeter bear, use a Moscato or a riesling in your white wine mixes. Don't want the alcohol to take over too much? Dim down the intensity by adding a little punch or juice to soften the mix. Get creative - its the adult, classier version of the jello shot!  Beware, these cute little bears pack a punch, and are sure to be a hit at any of your events this year. You might find people copying you after...
